The Unbelievable Day (Vocab. Story Starter #1)

 

"What is that loud noise?" yelled Bella.  She jumped out of her chair and her laptop fell to the ground.  The CPU also fell out of her laptop and it could no longer control any part of it.  She ran out into the front yard and could not believe her eyes.

 

 

Create your story in GOOGLE  DOCS. You need to finish the story using the other vocabulary words in your story (firewall, LAN and WAN).  Remember to create context clues in your story to give the word its meaning.  Your story needs to be a total of 250 words or more. The definitions are on my website if you need to look them up. Remember to put the vocab. words in red so that they stand out in the story and the context clues in yellow. Draw a picture for your story in Google Docs.

 

 

 

 


Elements of a story #2 (Make up a good title)

Setting:  A Castle, on an island, on a mountain, in the sky or any other place you want to use for a setting.

Characters: A King, A Queen, A Joker, a ninja, Sponge Bob or any other characters you want to add to your story.

Plot:  You need to come up with a plot that has 250 words or more. You will need to have 4 vocabulary words in it (software piracy, copyright, operating system and search engine ).  Be CREATIVE and have fun with it!!!

Once upon a time there was an old man who had an old computer.  He had a hard time remembering things,  especially the difference between the 2 kinds of memory he had.

The Mystery of the Missing Laptop Story #4

"Help! Help!  My laptop is missing!!"  yelled my neighbor.  I wasn't sure what he was talking about, but I thought that I would try to help him anyway.  He told me that he got an e-mail saying that he won a new ipad and all that he had to do was respond back to the e-mail.  So he responded back and gave them his phone number, home address and other information. Well, I knew immediately that it was a phishing

 scam used to gather his personal and financial information.
