IACP Parent Guide

 

The Individual Academic and Career Plan is a self-directed planning tool designed to help students get to know themselves, explore careers, set goals, plan coursework, journal about work and extracurricular experiences, and record grades and tests. Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) offers an on-line version of the IACP to all students and parents available through internet access.

 

Students usually initiate their IACPs in the 7th grade and continue to update them periodically throughout their junior high and high school years.

 

An online system of career development information and activities that sets students on the road to planning for high school, college, and work life.
